Biography
Born in Guadalajara, Joel Elizalde grew up as the son of Lalo El Gallo, a prominent name in banda music. Professional performances began for him during his teenage years and encompassed both vocal work and original songwriting. The 1995 release of Corridos Pesados launched his recording career, which featured continued touring and additional albums issued throughout the rest of the decade.
