Emerging from Britain's trance-pop circuit as a seasoned performer, Kelly Llorenna counts among the first artists to achieve breakthroughs with the now leading dance imprint All Around the World. Upminster, London, served as her birthplace in 1975. At sixteen she assembled her initial group, Freedom, alongside drama classmates from college. Joining forces with the production duo N-Trance produced the 1994 debut single "Set You Free," which registered only modest impact before climbing to number two the following year. A brief solo attempt then gave way to her appearance on the duo's Top Ten single "Da Ya Think I'm Sexy." The 2001 re-release of "Set You Free" paved the way for a recording agreement with AATW. Her collaboration with Flip & Fill on "True Love Never Dies" peaked at number seven, while further Top 20 entries arrived via covers of Donna Summer's "This Time I Know It's for Real" and Taylor Dayne's "Tell It to My Heart," together with the original track "Heart of Gold." The debut album All Clubbed Up charted as low as number 62 yet eventually moved 100,000 copies and stood as one of the label's earliest successful artist full-lengths. Sporadic singles continued to surface from Llorenna across the noughties; she also took the stage for multiple Clubland Live tours. By 2010 she had launched Freak Asylum alongside the Australian Grammy-nominated production team Love 2 Infinity. Under the additional alias Lola Leethal she further partnered with New Order's Peter Hook for a debut album.
