Biography
Mia Ariannaa first reached a major label when she issued her 2020 EP I'm a Good Girl...Do You Believe Me?, a project that highlighted the Charlotte native’s candid style within modern R&B. Growing up amid an eclectic household soundtrack, she performed regularly in church choirs and for her own enjoyment until entering Monica’s “So Gone” challenge in 2016. The clip’s enthusiastic reception prompted her to keep expanding her audience through additional online postings. In 2018 she put out the independent K-Figz duet “Nobody” under the name Mia Arianna, which led to a contract with Rico Love’s Division 1 imprint through Epic. Ahead of the EP, Love produced the single “What Was I Thinking?,” and the full project arrived the same year as Ariannaa’s debut release.
