Biography
Though Rapeton Approved figures prominently across numerous releases, the operation serves less as a conventional recording act and more as a developmental platform focused on discovering fresh Latin urban voices. Leading the initiative are Puerto Rican reggaeton icon Yandel and A&R executive Ángel "El Guru" Vega, founder of the widely recognized Rapeton website and media brand. Material arrives through the agency’s online portal, and when selected, the resulting tracks carry the Rapeton Approved designation while drawing on the brand’s promotional reach across every platform. A distribution arrangement with Warner Music Latina has been active since 2023. Among the acts that have issued singles under the Rapeton Approved banner stand Gabo El De La Comisión, Ery, Yzel, Sanchz, Chele, Clio, Villano Antillano, Xyron, and Youma, along with additional artists.
