Biography
Hailing from Chicago, Illinois, the melodic hard rock group Rubicon Cross came together through the longstanding friendship of C.J. Snare and Chris Green. Snare, who established Firehouse as its founding member, lead vocalist, and primary songwriter, had already achieved multi-platinum success with that pop-metal act, while Green, an English guitar virtuoso, had co-founded both Furyon and Pride. What began as a solo outlet for the prolific Snare evolved into a complete band once Green joined, bringing Pride bassist Simon Farmery along with guitarist Jeff Lerman and drummer Robert Behnke. Their self-titled first album, fusing classic melodic metal with contemporary rock energy, appeared on INgrooves, a Universal label, in 2014.
