Biography
In 2016 the Swedish electronic pop duo State of Sound stepped forward with the downtempo release "Higher Love," unveiling their blend of breezy tropical house and romantic dance-pop. Friends Viktor Norén and Joakim Andrén assembled the project in Stockholm, after which the newly formed act sustained its warm-weather atmosphere on later singles "Wake Up Where You Are," "Love Me Like That," and "Dry the Rain," merging softly throbbing electronic pulses, silky vocals, and occasional acoustic touches.
