Swedish electronic production duo NOTD, whose name is pronounced "noted," craft luminous and energetic dance-pop tracks that frequently weave in reflective lyrics centered on personal relationships. They first gained traction through prominent remixes for leading pop figures including Sia, Ed Sheeran, and Rihanna before unveiling their initial single, "Summer of Love" featuring Dagny, in 2017. A consistent flow of subsequent releases maintained their presence on charts across Europe and the United States, highlighted by the 2018 multi-platinum "I Wanna Know" featuring Bea Miller along with the number-one "So Close" alongside Felix Jaehn, Captain Cuts, and Georgia Ku. Throughout the 2020s the pair worked with Astrid S, Nina Nesbitt, Veronica Maggio, and additional artists, while 2024 brought the singles "Lover Online" with Maia Wright and "Bruce Wayne" with INJI.

Samuel Brandt, known as Severo, and Tobias Danielsson, known as ToWonder, first connected online and started making music together before discovering they had attended the same school. An extensive run of tropical-tinged future bass remixes for major tracks by the likes of Ed Sheeran on "Shape of You," Shawn Mendes on "There's Nothing Holding Me Back," Alessia Cara on "Scars to Your Beautiful," and DJ Khaled and Rihanna on "Wild Thoughts" helped them cultivate a following. Their Sheeran rework accumulated ten million streams and earned a 2017 Electronic Music Awards nomination for Remix of the Year, whereas their version of Stanaj's "Romantic" reached 45 million streams. In August 2017 they issued their first original single, "Summer of Love," which featured Norwegian pop singer Dagny. The following year brought the Bea Miller collaboration "I Wanna Know," a multi-platinum success, and "So Close," which included German DJ Felix Jaehn, Georgia Ku, and Captain Cuts; the track topped the U.S. Dance chart and received platinum certification. Additional 2019 releases such as "I Miss Myself" with HRVY and "Keep You Mine" with Shy Martin both reached the Swedish Top 100.

Opening the new decade, NOTD released "I Don't Know Why" featuring Astrid S in May 2020, where it charted in both Sweden and Norway. Later joint efforts included "Cry Dancing" with Nina Nesbitt and "Malibu" with Virginia to Vegas. The 2022 EP NOTED... featured appearances from Quinn XCII, the Band CAMINO, and kenzie. During 2023 the duo dropped tracks with Maia Wright on "AM:PM," Veronica Maggio on the Swedish Top Ten hit "Occhi D'Amore," Emei on "Hold on Me," and several others. "Nostalgia" with Georgia Ku surfaced in 2024, joined by further singles that year: "Under My Breath" with Riley Biederer, another outing of "Lover Online" with Maia Wright, and "Bruce Wayne" with INJI.
