Neiked originated as a Swedish collective devoted to mainstream pop with an independent spirit. What began as producer and songwriter Victor Rådström’s personal alias quickly expanded into a team effort that generated worldwide successes such as the 2016 single “Sexual,” which spotlighted Dyo, and the 2021 release “Better Days,” uniting Mae Muller with Polo G. The same bright, melody-driven approach guided their later partnerships, including the 2022 cut “I Just Called” alongside Anne-Marie and Latto as well as the September 2023 track “You’re Hired” that features Nigeria’s Ayra Starr.

Rådström first gained notice through collaborations with Swedish pop artists Miriam Bryant and Elin Bergman. Branching out independently, he issued the 2015 single “Cowboy,” a blend of organic pop and electronica that showcased vocals by fellow Swede Thomas Stenström. Early the next year came the follow-up “Sand & Lead,” followed months later by “Sexual.” That London-based Dyo collaboration reached number 32 on the Swedish singles chart and registered on the Irish, Norwegian, and U.K. listings as well. In 2017 the group unveiled “Call Me,” which spotlighted vocalist Mimi. Throughout 2018 Neiked continued releasing standalone tracks such as “Old School Love,” a joint effort with Shy Nodi, and “How Did I Find You,” again pairing with Miriam Bryant. These early recordings were later gathered on the 2019 full-length Best of Hard Drive. Returning in 2021, Neiked teamed with Mae Muller and Polo G for “Better Days,” a track that entered the Billboard 200 and registered across multiple European territories. Their next release, “I Just Called,” united British singer Anne-Marie with American rapper Latto and registered on the U.K. charts. The Ayra Starr-featured “You’re Hired” surfaced in September 2023.
