Atlanta-based pop-R&B trio OMG Girlz came together under the guidance of Tameka "Tiny" Cottle, a veteran of the hugely successful '90s R&B group Xscape, along with her associate Keisha Miles. The lineup consisted of Zonnique "Star" Pullins, Bahja "Beauty" Rodriguez, and Breaunna "Baby Doll" Womack, while earlier participants included Reginae "Baby Carter" Carter—daughter of Antonia "Toya" Wright and Lil Wayne—and Lourdes "Lolo" Rodriguez. Their initial exposure arrived via an installment of the BET reality series Tiny and Toya, which centered on Cottle and Wright. Several tracks surfaced in 2010, among them "Ain't Nobody," "Haterz," "Pretty Girl Bag," and "So Official." Following appearances on the 2011 Scream Tour alongside Mindless Behavior and Diggy Simmons, the act issued its debut official singles on Interscope via Cottle’s Pretty Hustle imprint and the Grand Hustle boutique label operated by her husband T.I. Both "Gucci This (Gucci That)" and "Where the Boys At" registered on the lower reaches of Billboard’s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.
