Travis Cottrell

Having grown up in Boone, North Carolina, Travis Cottrell—a singer, songwriter, and worship leader working in Contemporary Christian music—relocated to Nashville, Tennessee in the early 1990s to enroll in music studies at Belmont University. Following graduation he became deeply engaged with the praise-and-worship community, serving as writer, arranger, leader, and vocalist alongside major figures from both CCM and country music, among them Max Lucado, Alan Jackson, Amy Grant, and Garth Brooks. In parallel with those projects, Cottrell established a thriving solo career that has yielded multiple albums, among them The Deep, Unashamed Love, Alive Forever, Found, Ring the Bells, When the Stars Burn Down, the Dove Award-winning Jesus Saves Live, and The Reason.
