Biography
Hailing from Memphis, the alternative CCM outfit Big Tent Revival initially consisted of Steve Wiggins handling vocals and guitar, Randy Williams on guitar, and Spence Smith at the drums. The trio aligned with storied hometown imprint Ardent to deliver their self-titled debut in 1995, with Open All Nite arriving the following year. Expanded into a quintet by the arrival of bassist Rick Heil and keyboardist David Alan, the group returned in 1998 through Amplifier, and Choose Life appeared twelve months afterward.
