Biography
Hailing from Nashville, Christian Paul works as a singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist whose songs, marked by sincerity and openness, draw from classic soul traditions yet incorporate modern twists. A self-titled EP appeared in 2020, after which his first full-length project shifted toward lyrics rooted in faith.
Alabama-born, Paul has engaged with music from early childhood, receiving a drum kit at age four before mastering guitar and piano on his own. At twelve he took up singing and, shaped by vocalists spanning Sam Cooke to D’Angelo, began crafting unusually mature material centered on unrequited love and relational hardship. While still nineteen, he issued his debut singles “When Love Don’t Love You Back” and “Strong” in 2019, followed by the self-titled EP in early 2020. In 2022 he surfaced again with “Won’t Rain Anymore,” his inaugural release on Capitol CMG; the song introduced a debut album blending contemporary Christian pop, gospel, and R&B.
