Dice Soho

Born in 1995, Houston rapper Dice Soho had already immersed himself in the city’s thriving underground rap circuit by the time he turned nine, guided there by his uncle, the seasoned MC Smoov. Recognition remained modest until his teenage period, yet once he started issuing tracks and taking the stage in the mid-2010s, momentum built rapidly. He and fellow Houston artist Trill Sammy had grown up in proximity and known of one another for years before finally connecting in 2015 to record the breakout single “Just Watch.” That track spread virally, opening the door for subsequent releases that included the 2016 single “Ripped Jeans” and the 2017 single “Giraffe.” Dice Soho also issued the mixtape 0 Degrees that same year and accumulated numerous guest spots on other artists’ records as his visibility increased.
