Larue

LaRue, a brother-and-sister act made up of Natalie and Phillip LaRue, built a following inside the contemporary Christian arena. The pair arrived on the Christian music scene toward the end of the 1990s via a self-titled debut whose single “Reason” became a hit. Their 2001 sophomore album Transparent adopted a sharper, more developed tone, and Reaching, released the next year, brought alternative-rock textures into the duo’s sound. After that third album appeared, Natalie wed and the group parted on good terms while Phillip LaRue turned to solo work.
