Memphis rapper Lil Double 0 channels an intense creative force through sharp, narrative-driven rhymes centered on street-level grinding, vividly portraying shoot-outs and broader social struggles via an arsenal of rapidly shifting delivery styles. Still in his teens when he first took up the mic, he soon secured a deal with Future’s Freebandz imprint, which would issue projects including the 2022 album Walk Down World.

Born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee, Lil Double 0 competed in basketball prior to committing seriously to rap during his early teenage years; by the time he turned 18 he had already begun issuing independent tracks. The 2020 release “Living” generated substantial streaming traction that drew industry notice, prompting a partnership with Atlanta rap figurehead Future and his Freebandz roster. A series of early singles and mixtape-leaning projects culminated in the 2021 album Walk Down Gang. Fellow Memphis native Pooh Shiesty’s appearance on a remix of the Walk Down Gang cut “Area 51” expanded his reach, leading to an enlarged edition of the project that incorporated the remix alongside fresh material such as the Future-assisted opener “U Sellin Dope.” Throughout 2022 Lil Double 0 issued multiple singles before unveiling Walk Down World, a refined showcase of his unfiltered aesthetic featuring guest spots from Nardo Wick, Lil Uzi Vert, G Herbo, and additional artists; the album entered Billboard’s Heatseekers Albums chart at number one.
