Nicolas Herzig records as Loco Escrito, a Swiss-Colombian musician whose output stretches from hard-edged Spanish-language hip-hop to polished, romantic reggaeton-pop. One of the founders of Swiss rap crew LDDC, he scored early-2010s chart entries before issuing solo singles from 2013 onward and unveiling his first album, Mi Vida Es Mía, in 2014. The single “Sin Ti” reached audiences across multiple Latin American and European territories in 2017.

Born in Medellín, Colombia, in 1990, Herzig relocated to Zurich for primary school. He launched Swiss-Latino rap outfit LDDC (Los Diablos del Cielo) in 2004 with English vocalist Third Eye and DJ G-RaZ, handling Spanish vocals. Their strongest showing arrived with 2010’s RimaSSafaR, which climbed into the Swiss albums chart’s Top 50. After LDDC split in 2012, Loco Escrito went solo, releasing rap EP Mi Vida and the pop-leaning single “Mujer Fantasía” during 2013. He demonstrated his breadth on debut full-length Mi Vida Es Mía in 2014. Subsequent singles preceded the reggaeton-leaning EP La Conquista in 2016 and the trap-inflected De Maravilla, whose romantic Latin pop track “Sin Ti” became his biggest hit that year. He sustained the song’s summery, feel-good tone with “Adiós” in 2018.
