Biography
Paddock Park got their start in Ocala, Florida in 2007 and moved straight into the studio once Eulogy Recordings caught wind of the group’s competent, if unoriginal, take on emo-screamo hardcore. The label’s early support led to the band’s first full-length, A Hiding Place for Fake Friends, which arrived in fall 2008 and featured vocals from Jason Neil and Brian Calzini, guitar from both John Copeland and Timmy Brant, bass by Sanders Dukes, and drums courtesy of Bobby Scruggs. Neil and Calzini were soon replaced by a single frontman, Austin McAuley, while Copeland added co-lead vocals to his guitar role.
