Reykon stands as a decorated Colombian performer and tunesmith whose command of reggaeton has earned him global recognition, rendering his name virtually interchangeable with the genre inside his homeland. A string of successful tracks—“Se Aloca,” “Te Gateo,” “Tu Cuerpo Me Llama,” “El Besito,” “Sin Miedo,” “No Molestes Más,” “Tuturuwa,” “Mi Noche,” and “Cuando Te Vi”—propelled the artist onto international stages.

Andrés Felipe Robledo Londono entered the world on December 26, 1986, launching his musical pursuits in Envigado, the bustling urban hub of Antioquia. While still enrolled in secondary school, he helped establish the collective RTM in 2002; years of experimentation later prompted a solo launch in 2007, beginning with the non-charting “Como Me Cuesta.” Two years afterward, “La Santa” broke through, securing substantial rotation across Colombia, Puerto Rico, and additional Caribbean and South American territories.

The 2010 release “Se Aloca,” which featured J. Balvin, earned a Shock Awards nod for Urban Song of the Year, while Reykon himself contended for Best New Artist. Subsequent singles in 2011, among them “Se Aloca,” “Te Gateo,” “Tu Cuerpo Me Llama,” “El Besito,” “Sin Miedo,” “No Molestes Más,” “Tuturuwa,” “Mi Noche,” and “Cuando Te Vi,” dominated airwaves throughout South and Central America plus Mexico, elevating him to elite status within urban Latin music and marking him as a sought-after partner for fellow acts.

Reykon became the inaugural artist to join Daddy Yankee on the chart-topping “Señorita” in 2012, broadening his reach worldwide and attracting collaborations with Los Mortal Kombat, Karol G, Lil Silvio & El Vega, Sonny & Vaech, Kannon, Juancho Style, and others. The following year he became the first Colombian reggaeton performer to headline Australia, where every date sold out. His 2014 single “Secretos” dominated radio playlists across Latin America and claimed the top video slot on HTV; subsequent release in Miami, New York, Los Angeles, and Chicago transformed it into a favored club staple.

Vocal-chord surgery in 2016 forced an extended hiatus. Reykon resurfaced in 2017 with the platinum-certified Colombian single “Dejame Te Explico,” which also registered on international Latin pop charts. Spring 2018 brought his debut long-player, the twelve-track El Lider, boasting appearances by Daddy Yankee, Nicky Jam, and Luigi 21 Plus, plus bonus remixes of “Secretos” and “El Error” appended at the close.
