Sporting an expansive vocal range and soulful phrasing, Swedish pop singer Sandro Cavazza first drew notice through his work with the group Bonavox in 2014. Breakthrough recognition arrived via guest appearances on Lost Frequencies’ “Beautiful Life” in 2016 and on Avicii’s “Without You” in 2017, the latter reaching the summit of the Swedish singles chart. He later climbed into the Top Five across several Scandinavian territories with the 2020 Kygo collaboration “Forever Yours (Avicii Tribute),” which appeared ahead of his second EP, Weird & Talkative. Further 2021 releases included the single “Don’t Deserve This,” recorded with Nea.

Alessandro Michele Cavazza was born in Stockholm in 1992. He began singing in early childhood and attempted his first compositions while still in primary school. Cavazza subsequently enrolled at the Los Angeles College of Music, where he formed the alternative pop outfit Bonavox alongside musicians from Germany, Brazil, and Indonesia. The band issued a self-titled EP in 2014; after completing his studies, Cavazza departed to explore other opportunities.

He contributed to two tracks on Avicii’s album Stories, released in late 2015, and supplied vocals for the tropical house single “Beautiful Life” by EDM producer Lost Frequencies. Issued in June 2016, the track entered charts in multiple European countries and reached number one in Belgium. Cavazza made his solo bow in April 2017 on Interscope with the Sandro Cavazza EP. Later that year he topped the Swedish singles chart as featured artist on Avicii’s “Without You,” which also registered on the Billboard Canadian Hot 100 and various U.S. dance charts. The stand-alone 2018 single “High with Somebody,” credited with P3GI-13, peaked at number nine in Sweden, while his featured turn on Kygo’s “Happy Now” reached number three the same year. Cavazza returned to the Top Five with Kygo on 2020’s “Forever Yours (Avicii Tribute),” issued after the death of the Grammy-nominated producer. That year also saw the arrival of his second EP, Weird & Talkative. Additional 2021 collaborations encompassed “Love to Lose” with Georgia Ku and “Don’t Deserve This” with Nea.
