Biography
Formed in New York City in 2013 by college friends Jesse Fink, Andrew Spelman, Alexander Glantz, and Tyler Matte, The Heydaze came together as an alternative outfit shaped by the sounds of Tame Impala and Oasis. The group, which labels its music “windows down/stereo up” jams, promptly began releasing catchy singles such as “Little Bandit,” “Arnold Palmer,” and “City Girl” on YouTube and Soundcloud, quickly attracting a devoted audience in their hometown and across the United States. Additional singles appeared in 2014 alongside select national performances, and the band issued its self-titled debut EP in 2015.
