Tornillo

El Tornillo, whose real name is Osiel Armando Vázquez Pérez, operates under the stage alias Tornillo Vázquez and is recognized for a vocal style that draws from Cypress Hill in its distinctive neighing quality. The Mexican rapper entered the world in 2003 in San Luis, Potosí, where he first picked up the accordion at age six—an instrument that later found its way into his fusion of hip-hop and cumbia. His career accelerated sharply in 2021 after Santa Fe Klan brought him into his circle and placed him on the 473 label roster. A substantial audience soon gathered around Tornillo through a string of successful singles and videos that included “Dime Cuándo Volverás,” “Nena Ven,” “Morena 420” featuring Argentine rapper L Gante, and most notably “Un Día Se Termina,” while he also became a steady presence alongside Santa Fe Klan, serving as opener, backing vocalist, and trusted collaborator on stage. Within just over three years he issued the albums Cactus in 2022 and Estilo Fino in 2024, along with nearly forty singles released either as lead or featured artist.
