Sophie Montero, recognized online as Angelic, built her following by sharing cover songs on her channel. Miami-born, she drew early attention at age nine after uploading a version of Katy Perry's "Roar." Additional covers followed, steadily widening her reach. In her early teens she relocated to Los Angeles, where original material emerged on her debut mixtape, 2020's You Get Me?
