Bernard Flowers

Bernard Flowers, the Pop-R&B performer from Memphis, Tennessee, first took up rapping while still in his teens. Though he once weighed a future in education, his path shifted toward the music business, where he concentrated on vocals and songcraft. At 20 he relocated to Atlanta, intent on sharpening his abilities and drawing industry notice. Location played no evident role, yet he received an invitation to audition in New York for L.A. Reid, the widely accomplished songwriter and producer who serves as CEO of the major label Epic. The first encounter produced no outcome. Several months later Reid called for another meeting, and that session secured a recording contract. Flowers issued his Epic debut in April 2016 with the polished, aching ballad "This Feeling."
