Brian Kelley

Known for his skills as both a singer and guitarist, Brian Kelley gained fame as the Florida member of bro-country hitmakers Florida Georgia Line and later launched a solo career in 2021 via the debut album Sunshine State of Mind. He sustained a blend of sincere themes and energetic pop hooks on 2023's Tennessee Truth before exploring political themes through the track "Make America Great Again."

Ormand Beach native Kelley encountered future partner Tyler Hubbard during studies at Belmont University in Nashville. Choosing the moniker Florida Georgia Line to reflect Hubbard's upbringing in Monroe, Georgia, the pair reached country superstardom's peak with their 2012 single "Cruise." At the point Kelley moved into solo work, the Grammy Award-winning duo had already delivered five gold and platinum studio albums plus 18 number one singles on the Billboard Country charts.

Following the band's fifth studio release, Life Rolls On, early in 2021, Kelley put out his initial solo EP, BK's Wave Pack, and soon afterward the Billboard-charting album Sunshine State of Mind on Warner Music Nashville. Matching the performer's relaxed "beach cowboy" persona, these projects merged the flagship duo's good-time swagger with the sunny surf vibes of Jimmy Buffet. After signing to Big Machine Records, Kelley began 2022 with the patriotic single "American Spirit" and, a year afterward, the romantic anthem "See You Next Summer." Both that song and "Trucks, Ducks, Bucks & Beer" featured on his sophomore album, Tennessee Truth, in May 2024. Two months later he revealed a political stance via the standalone track "Make America Great Again" along with an appearance at the Republican National Convention.
