Chase Matthew

Chase Matthew, a country singer and songwriter, experienced swift popularity growth in 2021 when his initial single "County Line" from the matching EP gained viral traction. As the inaugural artist signed to Ryan Upchurch's Holler Boy Records, he built upon that momentum by releasing the complete album Born for This in 2022. His first venture with a major label came in 2023 via the two-disc collection Come Get Your Memory issued by Warner Bros., with the EPs We All Grow Up and Always Be Mine appearing the next year.

Raised beyond the boundaries of Nashville, Tennessee, Matthew started performing vocally while attending high school and persisted in honing his skills alongside employment as a mechanic. Tracks reflecting the authentic personalities from his upbringing enabled him to amass a substantial online audience, leading entrepreneurial country rapper Ryan Upchurch to select him in 2021 as the debut act for his fresh Holler Boy imprint. The EP's namesake track "County Line" achieved enormous digital play volume, heightening expectations ahead of Matthew's first full-length Born for This, which reached stores in the beginning of 2022 and secured the second spot on the Heatseekers ranking. Following his Warner Bros. affiliation, he put out the successful independent single "Love You Again" during December. The industrious performer quickly followed up in 2023 by unveiling his second album, an extensive 25-track project called Come Get Your Memory. At the start of the subsequent year, he delivered the EPs We All Grow Up and Always Be Mine, with the second one featuring the track "Saltwater Cinderella."
