Future Generations

Future Generations, the New York outfit, first drew notice through their Polysun EP, issued in 2014 on Frenchkiss Records after the woozy blend of indie pop and electronics reached the label. Their self-titled debut followed in 2016, broadening the sonic palette, and the lineup itself grew before the anthemic Landscape arrived two years later.

The project originated at Fordham University in New York, where Eddie Gore on vocals, Mike Sansevere handling synths and guitar, and Eric Grossman on guitar began fitting studio time around classes. Frenchkiss, impressed by the initial EP, offered a deal that brought Polysun out in 2014. Once their studies ended, the three relocated to Brooklyn and turned immediately to completing a full-length album. That self-titled collection surfaced in 2016 on the same imprint, now as a quartet after Fordham alumnus Devon Sheridan joined on bass, and the expanded group launched a tour behind it.

In 2017 they returned to the studio with Justin Gerrish producing and Dylan Wells added on percussion. “All the Same” served as the advance single, and Landscape reached stores via Frenchkiss the following year.
