Biography
Iran Castillo, the Mexican singer and actress, first entered the music world by joining the vocal group Mosquitas Muertas in 1991. At age 16 she appeared in the popular soap opera Agujetas de Color de Rosa and soon afterward took the lead role in Confidente de Secundaria. She also contributed to that series’ soundtrack by recording “De Corazón A Corazón” alongside Flavio César. Sony Music Entertainment Mexico issued her debut album Tiempos Nuevos in 1997, after which she released the Latin pop/ballad-oriented album Tatuada En Tus Besos that introduced her songwriting with “Tus Puntos Dormidos.”
