Jubël, a Swedish electronic duo, specializes in dance-pop that pairs refined textures with irresistibly catchy momentum. Attention first arrived through their 2018 cover of “Dancing in the Moonlight,” which reached Sweden’s Top Ten and cleared the path for the 2019 debut album Strawtown. After the 6115 Orange St. EP appeared in 2021, further singles followed, among them 2022’s “Diamonds” featuring Aleyna Tilki, 2023’s “Triple A” featuring NLE Choppa, and 2024’s “Lie to Me” featuring KIDDO.

Formed in 2017 in Halmstad, Sweden, the group unites songwriter, instrumentalist, and producer Sebastian Atas with primary lead singer, songwriter, and producer Victor Sjöström. Each had worked independently for years before they combined forces on the track “Illusion” with Neimy. Placed in an H&M advertisement, the song generated early momentum for the project. In 2019 their version of the classic Boffalongo and King Harvest song “Dancing in the Moonlight,” again featuring additional vocals by Neimy, entered Sweden’s Top Ten and was included on Strawtown, which climbed to number 16 in their home country. A re-released edition of “Dancing in the Moonlight” surfaced in 2020, extending their reach by peaking at number 11 on the U.K. charts.

Additional tracks such as “On the Beach” and “Someone” appeared next, the latter also landing in Sweden’s Top 20; both were featured on the Strawtown EP. The second EP, 6115 Orange St., arrived in 2021 and contained “Weekend Vibe” featuring Desi Crew. Over the ensuing year the duo issued several stand-alone singles, including “So Sick,” “Diamonds” featuring Aleyna Tilki, “Lucky” with Noa Kirel, and “My Only Wish” featuring Christopher. In 2023 they released the non-album single “Triple A” featuring NLE Choppa, followed in early 2024 by “Lie to Me” featuring KIDDO.
