Biography
Having honed her craft as a singer and actress across several years at the Dallas-based Upperroom church, Meredith Mauldin contributed significantly to its worship practices and songwriting environment. Performances in a range of styles include stints with the jazz/swing combo Corner Pocket and the country-pop/rock & roll act Vince Vance & the Valiants. Her debut solo album, Releasing Angels, arrived in 2008. Throughout the 2010s, Mauldin lent her voice to numerous Upperroom and Glory of Zion International Worship releases. She also established SongLab during those years, a label, artist collective, and workshop created to help worship leaders nationwide collaborate and write songs suited to their own congregations. The label put out two concert EPs in 2021: Simplicity and Live from South Eden.
