Biography
The Norteño ensemble Peligro came together in Lubbock, Texas. Singer and accordionist J.R. Gutiérrez was seventeen years old when the group issued its self-titled debut album in 1999. The outfit kept producing recordings, which led to a 2003 reissue of Peligro as well as the appearance of Cielo Azul, Cielo Nublado two years later.
