Biography
Hailing from Cleveland, Ohio, rapper Ray Jr. surfaced with a full-bodied style that falls somewhere in between Nate Dogg and Rick Ross. His early work appeared under the name Young Ray, yet he was credited as Ray Jr. on the 2010 Machine Gun Kelly track "I Know." Breakthrough success arrived in 2011 with "Sloppy," a regional club hit that landed him a Def Jam contract. By 2014 he had left the label and issued "Same Crew" via Legit Paper Entertainment. The Notorious B.I.G. tribute "Biggie" arrived the following year.
