Biography
Hailing from Columbia, Tennessee, country singer and songwriter Shane Profitt stepped forward in 2022 with an earnest style grounded in the working-class country-pop energy of peers such as Luke Combs and Riley Green. The native of that town had begun playing guitar only a short time before taking the stage for his Ryman Auditorium debut at age 22. Inspiration drawn from Hank Williams, Jr. songs, paired with relentless dedication, shaped Profitt’s earthy yet current country approach, which reached listeners that year via the Big Machine Label Group release Maury County Line.
