Tyler Braden, recognized for his country-rock approach featuring a richly textured vocal style and talent for crafting catchy melodies, stepped onto the music landscape in 2017. Breakthrough arrived two years later when he secured a contract with Warner Music Nashville and delivered an emotionally charged rendition of Needtobreathe’s “Brother.”

The Alabama native, who had previously worked as a firefighter and first responder, issued his first EP, What Do They Know, in 2021. He followed with the more rock-driven Neon Grave in 2023, then achieved a Top 40 country placement in 2024 via the single “More Than a Prayer.”

Born and raised in Slapout, Alabama, Tyler Braden sang regularly in church and at family gatherings during his youth. After finishing high school he joined a rock covers band, drawing inspiration from an eclectic range of artists that included Boyz II Men, the Chicks, Kenny Chesney, and Foo Fighters.

Friends persuaded him to enter a local music contest, where he captured the top prize and earned a trip to Nashville for a recording session. The experience prompted the aspiring musician, then employed as a first responder in nearby Montgomery, to relocate to Music City, take a firefighting position, and pursue a career as a performing artist.

Warner Music Nashville discovered him through the early singles “Little Red Wine,” “Leave Me Alone,” and “Thank Me for That,” signing him to the roster in 2020. His major-label debut, the Needtobreathe cover “Brother,” appeared that same year and quickly amassed streams. Early 2021 brought a series of well-received originals—“Love Is a Dead End Road,” “Secret,” and “What Do They Know”—with the latter two included on his debut EP, What Do They Know, released later that year. Braden returned to his rock roots on the hard-hitting 2023 EP Neon Grave. His intense 2024 single “The Devil You Know” entered Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart at number 30, followed by additional tracks such as “More Than a Prayer” and “Above the Water.”
