Biography
SNF.JT emerged seemingly out of thin air from Indiana once his 2020 cuts “Changes” and “Ride or Die” appeared, blending partially sung and partially rapped vocals over commanding beats, and then issued his first full-length project, the 2021 album I Ain’t Even Made It Yet.
A native of Gary, Indiana, the artist first encountered music through an uncle who spun classic hip-hop cuts by the likes of 50 Cent, Lil Wayne, and Chris Brown. After completing his schooling and attending college to compete in basketball, SNF.JT shifted his attention entirely to music in 2019. He refined his skills with determination, issued several singles, and then unveiled “Maybe:” in January 2020. Additional tracks followed until hip-hop luminary Irv Gotti discovered him and placed him on the Murder, Inc roster. The widely embraced “Changes” and “Ride or Die” arrived next, their cinema-styled videos quickly accumulating abundant online streams. Over the ensuing twelve months SNF.JT kept releasing material, among them the joint effort “On Me” alongside RIKKI. Early in 2021 he completed work on his debut album before I Ain’t Even Made It Yet reached the public.
