Biography
Originating from Detroit, the metalcore outfit Vesta Collide features vocalist Mark Pfromm alongside guitarist-vocalist Jacob Matzkows, guitarist Alex Kuzmanovic, bassist Alex Honeycutt, and drummer Max Santoro. Their sound blends howled vocals with melodic choruses, fast guitar riffs, and rapid drumming. Prior to establishing Vesta Collide, the trio of Pfromm, Matzkows, and Honeycutt performed in the Detroit metalcore group Dismember the Fallen during its run from 2010 to 2014. The video accompanying Vesta Collide's track "Outreach (The End)" debuted on Revolver Magazine's website during June 2014. The year 2015 saw the ensemble ink a deal with Stay Sick Recordings, the imprint established by Attila frontman Chris Fronzak. January 2017 marked the release of Vesta Collide's first full-length effort, New Obsession, via Stay Sick. That album climbed to the twentieth position on Billboard's Heatseekers Albums chart.
