Hailing from Staten Island, Wolfacejoeyy fuses melodic rap with R&B-infused choruses and rhythms carrying an energetic, dancefloor-ready pulse. Emerging through his earliest singles, this approach reached fuller expression on releases such as the 2023 project 22Joeyy, spotlighting his notable cut “Buku” together with a version reworked alongside SoFaygo.

Born Joseph Badejo, the artist issued his first material in 2020. Early efforts including that year’s “omg” and “Molly” already displayed the airy R&B tones paired with heavy bass that he would continue refining. The 2021 EPs It’s Just Us and Home preceded 2022’s All Your Fault, where Jersey club production elements began surfacing within his sound. Several singles surfaced in 2023, led by the driving “Buku,” which appeared on the mixtape-length 22Joeyy released the same year. Before 2023 concluded, Wolfacejoeyy dropped two additional tracks, “GOMD” and “Tylenol,” both constructed on the same instrumental and flow as “Buku.”
