Biography
CCM singer/songwriter Daniel Doss launched his musical path during the mid-2000s as worship leader at Grace Community Church in Clarksville, Tennessee. By that point the four-piece Daniel Doss Band had already established itself as a regional touring outfit and issued a pair of independent recordings; then, in 2006, several tracks the group placed on a compilation attracted the notice of Sparrow Records, the prominent Christian imprint with major-label ties. Teaming with Dove Award-winning producer Ed Cash, the Daniel Doss Band completed its debut album Greater Than Us All in 2008. Two years afterward the Mission House label issued the follow-up Beyond My Reach, which proved to be the final release under the Daniel Doss Band name. Doss spent several more years maintaining his ministries across the Midwest before moving to Nashville, where he resumed his recording career under his own name with the 2017 LP Praise the King.
