Biography
Emerging from Mexico as a quartet, Resorte quickly established itself among the dominant forces on the regional circuit toward the end of the 1990s. Its funk-metal approach, reminiscent of Korn, Disturbed, and Papa Roach, yielded the 1999 release República de Ciegos and a strong showing at Bogota's Festival Rock al Parque. The next year the group relocated to Los Angeles, CA, for sessions with producer Jason Roberts. While promoting the 2000 album XL, the band launched an extensive tour of America as the video “Caliente” rose through MTV Latino's Top 20.
