Babydrill

Atlanta rapper BabyDrill channels the atmosphere of chilling horror cinema through his tense, uneasy rhymes set against cold and aggressive trap production. Multiple joint tracks with Young Nudy appear throughout his catalog, while his 2022 project Drill Season featured guest spots from Latto and G Herbo. The same fiery, dramatic approach grew more pronounced on the 2023 album MadMan and the 2024 release ScoreGod.

Previously recording as Cristo4L, he dropped the mixtape Mr. Body Dropper at the start of 2021 and guested on Young Nudy’s RCA project Rich Shooter that year. Switching to the BabyDrill name in 2022, he opened with the track “32 Freestyle.” Another link-up with Nudy produced “Duntsane,” later included on the album EA Monster. In November he issued the Drill Season mixtape, again showcasing Latto and G Herbo. Four extra songs arrived on an expanded version the following month. MadMan, his second full-length effort, surfaced in June 2023 and leaned into a denser sonic palette; one highlight was “Slight Dub,” which paired him with 21 Savage and Young Nudy. Appearances on singles from Latto and the Kid LAROI preceded the arrival of ScoreGod in 2024, whose guests included Luh Tyler, Hunxho, and YTB Fatt. The subsequent singles “No Diddy,” featuring Jackboy, and “Dracula” rounded out the run.
