Biography
Led by Atlanta rap icon Lil Yachty, Concrete Boys operates as a hip-hop crew drawing talent from his Concrete Rekordz roster. The roster unites Yachty with Camo!, Dc2trill, KARRAHBOOO, and Draft Day, and the outfit issued its inaugural project, It's Us, Vol. 1, in 2024.
Lil Yachty's 2020 album Lil Boat 3 ended with a cut named "Concrete Boys." Material from a matching ensemble surfaced through leaks across the ensuing years. After Yachty explored psychedelic rock on the 2023 detour Let's Start Here and teamed with J. Cole for the title track of The Secret Recipe EP, the crew attracted notice through an On the Radar Radio freestyle. Concrete Boys made its formal debut via the December single "MO JAMS," a reflective posse cut steeped in slow-jam nostalgia that paired with a holiday-themed video. Additional clips followed before the April 2024 release of It's Us, Vol. 1, which reached the upper half of the Billboard 200.
