Pharaoh

American metallers Pharaoh came together in 1997 and delivered their first full-length recording, After the Fire, six years later. Known for meticulously crafted productions and densely layered arrangements, the group followed up with a second album in 2006; titled The Longest Night, that effort extended the promise shown on their debut. Band members devoted most of 2007 to crafting a third studio set, which emerged in 2008 under the title Be Gone. During the same year they also scheduled the release of their inaugural live album for 2009. Lead singer Tim Aymar passed away on February 13, 2023, at the age of 59.
