Rocaine, a Detroit rapper, crafts rhymes rooted in street hustling that project both fearlessness and menace. Ties connect the MC to Glo Gang, the crew led by fellow Midwesterner Chief Keef, while he also belongs to 44 Boyz, an outfit that likewise functions as the label behind his releases. From the mid-2010s onward, a steady flow of standalone tracks has emerged from Rocaine, among them "BWB," the Molly Brazy collaboration "Lil Friend," and "Chicken Chicken," alongside guest spots on recordings from Oba Rowland, Icewear Vezzo, and Stackboi Ty. Earlier he put out several extended projects, including Glocaine and Death Penalty, yet Dopeman stands as his first proper full-length effort—an 11-track set that surfaced in 2017 without any guest appearances.
