Biography
Emerging from his teenage years in Johannesburg, South Africa, Ryan Riback developed his craft as a prolific EDM producer, DJ, and remix artist by self-teaching mixing methods within the local club circuit, where he first worked as a DJ before creating original material. Following his 2006 relocation to Melbourne, Australia, he expanded his profile internationally, gaining notice over the next decade for both his own releases and remixes of tracks by Chuckie, Nari & Milani, Joachim Garraud, and others. While releasing on labels including Rising Music, Central Station, and Sweat It Out, Riback has performed at clubs and festivals throughout Australia as well as in Shanghai. His 2012 collaboration with Lowkiss, "Work, Money, Party, Bitches," marked a breakthrough by reaching number five on Australia's ARIA chart, and his 2016 remix of Starley's "Call on Me" matched that domestic performance while also succeeding across Europe. Later remixes for Andy Grammar and Maroon 5 appeared alongside new original work such as the 2017 single "All That She Wants."
