Biography
Adam Craig, a country singer and songwriter recognized for his warm, down-to-earth delivery along with a talent for crafting memorable hooks, built experience through bar performances across his native Washington before relocating to Nashville. Back in Washington his powerful vocals drew notice, yet his songwriting abilities secured opportunities in Music City. Soon he placed material with acts including Jason Aldean, Love & Theft, and Parmalee, the latter scoring a 2014 hit with the track “Close Your Eyes,” which Craig co-wrote. A longtime admirer of Tim McGraw and Travis Tritt, he gravitated toward a classic down-home approach that highlighted the everyday nice guy instead of the swaggering bro-country style prevalent in 2010s mainstream country. Upon gaining the platform to release music as a solo performer, he committed to recording songs in that vein. Following the release of his single “Little Bit More of You,” Craig joined BBR Music Group’s Stoney Creek imprint, which put out his self-titled debut EP in 2016.
