Early in his teenage years, Swedish DJ, producer, and musician Andrej Kamnik developed an interest in electronic music that soon led him into performances with the trance duo Andrelli & Blue once he reached age 19. Throughout the 2000s the pair maintained an active schedule, issuing singles and delivering remixes for various fellow artists. Kamnik stepped out on his own in 2014 yet retained the Andrelli name while taking on production duties for other acts, handling additional remixes, and issuing original material. Two standout reinterpretations earned him widespread praise: a 2016 overhaul of Hearts & Colors’ “Lighthouse” and an introspective early-2017 take on Lady Gaga’s “Million Reasons.” That same year he also unveiled original singles, including the tropical-house track “Old Man” and the pop-inflected “Always You,” before beginning 2018 with a fresh collaboration alongside Hearts & Colors on the single “Yung Luv.”
