Biography

Benny, the Mexican singer, songwriter, and actor born Benny Ibarra de Llano as the son of rock & roll performer Benny Ibarra, first took the stage on April 30, 1981. He soon appeared in the musical Jesus Christ Superstar alongside his mother Julissa de Llano Macedo before becoming part of the popular children-oriented act Timbiriche. After completing studies in the U.S., he struck out independently and marked his 20th career anniversary by issuing Todo o Nada in 2001.
