Georgia Webster, a pop singer and songwriter whose understated approach conceals a knack for memorable hooks and fluidly adaptable arrangements, first drew notice after “Tell Your Mom” spread widely across social platforms in 2020. Its country-tinged sound secured her a recording contract, yet later releases such as “Delusional” and “Attention,” both issued in early 2024, revealed a nimble and polished artist who deftly merged elements of pop and country.

Raised in Hampden, Massachusetts, Webster initially focused her creativity on fiction. Exposure to Taylor Swift prompted her to learn guitar on her own. During adolescence she began composing songs while equally drawn to John Mayer and Carrie Underwood; in subsequent years her tastes shifted toward Tyler Childers. Following a summer songwriting camp, she began posting original material online. “Tell Your Mom” was the first track to gain traction, attracting producer Paul DiGiovanni, previously known for collaborations with Sam Hunt and Dan + Shay. DiGiovanni refined the track into a finished recording that earned Webster a deal with Sony Music Nashville/River House.

Her debut single for the label, “Push & Pull,” surfaced in March 2021, and the EP First Goodbye appeared later that year. “I Hate Phone Calls (Long Distance Sucks)” arrived in 2022 and was soon followed by the EP Chapter 1: Things We’re Not Saying. In 2023 Webster joined Kelsea Ballerini on tour, then introduced a fresh phase with the early-2024 singles “Attention” and “Delusional.”
