Jay Burna

Jay Burna, a South Florida vocalist, emcee, and songwriter whose style sits squarely between Drake and the Weeknd, first operated behind the scenes in tandem with Kid Ink. He initiated his public career in 2008 by releasing material on social media and video platforms while partnering with Maine Event and Sarcazm. The following year he formed the Black Congress Entertainment collective and its imprint; 2010 then brought the single “Rolling Stone.” “My Dirty Diana” appeared in 2011, the same year the hit “Respect” arrived. In 2014 Burna made his directing debut with the short film Doves, and 2015 yielded the successful tracks “Ready” and “Mood.”
