Paloma Mami crafts bilingual songs that fuse contemporary R&B, trap, and reggaeton into pop-centered hybrids, conveying emotion with measured restraint. She first drew attention in 2018 after appearing on a Chilean television competition and issuing her initial pair of singles, one of which was “No Te Enamores,” marking her debut on Sony Music’s Latin roster. Her inaugural full-length project, Sueños de Dalí, arrived in 2021.

Born Paloma Rocío Castillo Astorga in Manhattan, she began piano lessons in childhood and deepened her musical engagement during her mid-teens following a relocation to Chile, her parents’ homeland. That year she joined the reality series Rojo yet withdrew, citing constraints on artistic freedom and contractual terms she found limiting. Four months after independently releasing the June single “Not Steady”—a bilingual blend of pop, contemporary R&B, trap, and reggaeton shaped with producer Lesz—she secured a deal with Sony Music Latin. Late in 2018 she issued her first major-label recording, the more reggaeton-focused “No Te Enamores,” helmed by Mambo Kingz and DJ Luian. Additional tracks appeared in 2020, among them “Goteo” and “For Ya,” both later featured on Sueños de Dalí. “Síntomas de Soltera (feat. Pailita and El Jordan 23)” followed in 2022, succeeded the next year by “NOPALATELE (feat. King Savagge and Ak 4:20).”
