Biography
Hailing from Ohio, the rap producer Jerry Cruz—widely known by his alias 16yrold—supplies instrumentals to emerging talents within the country’s underground rap circuit. At the start of his work, he cultivated an air of secrecy, restricting his digital footprint to nothing beyond profiles on SoundCloud and Instagram. Digital outreach eventually enabled him to deliver productions for artists nationwide, beginning with joint efforts alongside Divine, Dutchboy, SahBabii, Ski Mask the Slump God, Desiigner, and Gloss Gang.
